Sunday Funday!

This morning I started out with a delicious green smoothie!! It's good to get some extra greens in the morning, without feeling you are eating a salad all day long!

Handful of spinach
Small banana
1/2 c. Frozen pineapple
Clementine
11oz. Vita CoCo orange coconut water

So yummy!!!

Food prep

So this last week, I started prepping my meals for work, the night before! At first it seems like a big hassle to come home at 9pm, only to do more stuff.  Once you get the hang of it, and kind of have an idea of what will keep you going thru the day, it gets easier! So because I normally work 10-12 hr. days, and workout before work, I need all of my meals and snacks :). I'm working on incorporating more protein, because that's something I'm definitely lacking! But here's a glimpse into my normal day lately :)

New juice!

I tried a new juice recipe today, just throwing things in that I had in my fridge :) It's pretty tasty I feel!

The recipe is:
  5 stalks kale 
  Handful spinach 
  1/2 cucumber
  1/2 lemon
  1 apple
  1/4 beet

Our workout today:

30 minute run/walk on the treadmill.
Then we did this little cardio abs mix from the instagram account @cardioexercises

HIIT Sunday

So today was a pretty chill day :) We did brunch with the family this morning at Crave! So we decided since we had such a big cheat meal, that we should do a HIIT workout (high intensity interval workout). Our friend Madison joined us, and we did it big tonight! So here is our workout :)

Happy Saturday!

So this morning I stopped by Mazopiya, our local healthfood store on my way to work to pick up my favorite green lemonade! It's a fresh juice made with kale, romaine lettuce, apple's, lemon and ginger!! Soo good! I have yet to replicate it, but I hope to make one just as yummy!! :)

This morning

This morning I started out with egg whites, toast and orange juice! Good way to start my morning besides I had a migrane but I'm going to school still! Also yesterday I cracked my phone whoops!:) I was running and I had a jacket on and I thought the pocket was zipped but it wasn't but that was my fault! On the bright side it's the back;) I finished almost everything! 

Workout of the Day!

Another early morning workout! My friend Jackie and I did 20 minutes of running for our cardio. For the strength training we did lots of squats, barbell rows and abs! Feeling good this morning!!:D
