Sunday Funday!

This morning I started out with a delicious green smoothie!! It's good to get some extra greens in the morning, without feeling you are eating a salad all day long!

Handful of spinach
Small banana
1/2 c. Frozen pineapple
Clementine
11oz. Vita CoCo orange coconut water

Food prep

So this last week, I started prepping my meals for work, the night before! At first it seems like a big hassle to come home at 9pm, only to do more stuff.  Once you get the hang of it, and kind of have an idea of what will keep you going thru the day, it gets easier! So because I normally work 10-12 hr. days, and workout before work, I need all of my meals and snacks :). I'm working on incorporating more protein, because that's something I'm definitely lacking! But here's a glimpse into my normal day lately :)

New juice!

I tried a new juice recipe today, just throwing things in that I had in my fridge :) It's pretty tasty I feel!

The recipe is:
  5 stalks kale 
  Handful spinach 
  1/2 cucumber
  1/2 lemon
  1 apple
  1/4 beet

Our workout today:

30 minute run/walk on the treadmill.
Then we did this little cardio abs mix from the instagram account @cardioexercises

HIIT Sunday

So today was a pretty chill day :) We did brunch with the family this morning at Crave! So we decided since we had such a big cheat meal, that we should do a HIIT workout (high intensity interval workout). Our friend Madison joined us, and we did it big tonight! So here is our workout :)

Happy Saturday!

So this morning I stopped by Mazopiya, our local healthfood store on my way to work to pick up my favorite green lemonade! It's a fresh juice made with kale, romaine lettuce, apple's, lemon and ginger!! Soo good! I have yet to replicate it, but I hope to make one just as yummy!! :)

This morning

This morning I started out with egg whites, toast and orange juice! Good way to start my morning besides I had a migrane but I'm going to school still! Also yesterday I cracked my phone whoops!:) I was running and I had a jacket on and I thought the pocket was zipped but it wasn't but that was my fault! On the bright side it's the back;) I finished almost everything! 

Workout of the Day!

Another early morning workout! My friend Jackie and I did 20 minutes of running for our cardio. For the strength training we did lots of squats, barbell rows and abs! Feeling good this morning!!:D

After school workout!!!

Today I went to workout with Madison we did 30 minutes treadmill I got to 2miles and 10 minute bike! After we did 40 minutes strength, today we did legs, abs and Butt ;) felt pretty good! Before we started we got Thrive! Madison took fitness pictures to try and keep up with me and brittany! Today I had no breakfast and for lunch a granola bar. Better than nothing! 

Rise and shine!

So today was an early morning, 5:15am workout!! We did 10 minutes each of the stairclimber, elliptical and rowing machine. After that we did abs, back extensions, tricep dips, tricep pulldowns, and the chopping row!
On a funny side note: I totally busted my water bottle! Dropped it right on the corner of the bottle bottom, and it cracked a giant hole, sending a gush of water across the floor. :P One of my fav water bottles too! Oh well, good excuse to buy a new one!;) Have a happy day!:)

Fun New Recipes

Today we started out with a healthy breakfast!

In a juicer we put:
2 carrots
1 Clementine
1 apple
1/4 beet
1/4 lemon
So delicious and looked like a sunset :)
We also had these amazing little breakfast bowls!
1/2 c chobani coconut yogurt
Blueberries
Strawberries
Bear Naked coconut vanilla granola

After our workout we stopped at Thrive, who makes some delicious herbalife smoothies!!
Our workout today? 20 minute run, 10 min bike, pull-ups, lat pulldowns, incline chest press and abs. Felt good!!

Our Start to Healthy Living!

Good afternoon!! So we are going to keep this post short and sweet!! A little introduction if you will :)

I'm Brittany:) I'm 28, am a hairstylist and have lived in Minnesota my whole life.  I love being active, snowboarding, making people look beautiful and summertime!!

My January goal is to drink 74 oz. of water everyday!


I'm Izzy :) I'm 14 years old. I love to run , be with friends and I also love Floridas beaches!!:)
